Dos Molina's Mexican Restaurant: Reviews & Ratings

Honestly the best Mexican we have had in Texas! The food was clearly all fresh and homemade. The corn chips tasted like they were just made, and don't get me started on the salsa! It was so good that my child who doesn't normally like salsa was drinking it out of the cup. Thankfully everyone was given individual cups for the salsa. When the food came out the deal was sealed for us. We've decided this will be our go to Mexican restaurant. But the best part of this restaurant wasn't the food. The staff was as warm and welcoming as if we were family or old friends. They were amazingly kind and thoughtful. The waitress anticipated our needs before we even had the chance to ask and the gentleman in the front was so kind. He had my kids laughing and playing. Considering how perfect everything about the restaurant was I honestly would have expected a much high price tag. However, each plate was less than $10. It's not often we can feed our family of 5 for less than $50 (tab before the tip came to $42). I will have to recommend calling ahead to get your name on the list but honestly if you forget the food is totally worth the wait! Overall everything was amazing!!!

Authentic as authentic can be. Real food. Love the service. I feel at home and the warmth of the family kitchen table along with this. The tortillas are amazing as well as the refried beans.

We went to the Stockyards and found ourselves in the mood for Mexican. It seemed as if the nearby touristy tex mex restaurant might be meh, so we decided to be adventurous and walk to Dos Molinas, as their reviews are solid. Well. This little restaurant may not look like much from the outside but WOWZERZ!!! Simply amazing!!! We love mexican food and will often travel far out of our way for it. This spot deserves every good review they have and then some. We ate there a year ago and are STILL on a mission to find a place that beats their chili rellano!!!! BEST EVER!!!! Anyways. If youre wondering, just go. The service is also very good people. We love Dos Molinas!

Some of the best Mexican food our family has had in years! We had a party of eight at noon on and a Saturday in a packed restaurant and were sat within 25 minutes. The service was great and they did it all while serving a packed restaurant. Our server Selina was great and very helpful. You must get a dish with their house made tortillas! Some of the best I’ve ever had! If you’re in Fort Worth/Dallas this place is worth the trip for their amazing food!!!

Greeted with a smile you wait patiently for your table doesn't take that long servers are awesome The dishes it all depends on your taste buds for example I love their caldo de res and I dislike the mole with the chicken breast... They also have it with the leg quarter which is the best but I personally do not like the chicken breast mole it's dry thick difficult for me to eat pretty much most of their dishes are delicious there is options prices are very budget friendly can't go wrong with this place. do not let me discourage you from getting the chicken mullet with the breast if you like it lean ask for it that way you may fall in love with it me personally I like dark meat I don't like white meat...

My friends and I went to this restaurant on a Saturday night on our trip to Fort Worth stockyards. The restaurant does not look fancy from the outside, but it is quite cozy inside and the food is good with a big quantity. The restaurant provided us with free chips once we were seated. The red salsa was a little bit spicy, but went well with the chips. We ordered the bean and guacamole nachos as our starter. There was a bunch of cheese on top of it. It goes well with the crispy chips, guacamole on top and the beans. I ordered the barbacoa dinner after asking the waitress for a recommendation. Once the dish was served, I was stunned. We ordered the nachos because we were afraid we might not order enough food, but we were wrong. The plate was big. The barbacoa piled up and accounted for at least 1/4 of the plate. It is enough for 5-6 normal sized tacos. The other food (beans, rices and lettuce) accounted for the rest of the plate. The barbacoa was soft and well seasoned. I had tried barbacoa from different restaurants and this was one of the best I had ever had. Also, the tortillas were really good. They were served hot and soft. The flour tortilla was huge and thicker than most of the flour tortillas I had ever had. The corn tortilla had a strong corn flavor, which I like a lot. One of friends ordered a Ryan’s Carnes Asada. The beef is pan fried with the onion. The beef is soft and also comes with a larger quantity. The other friend ordered the fajitas tacos. It comes with 3 beef fajitas tacos. Each taco is served with two pieces of corn tortillas. The beef is soft and well seasoned. They like their dishes a lot also. Overall, I highly recommend people to come to this place when they visit the Fort Worth stockyards, which is about 10 mins walk or 4 mins drive from the restaurant. It provides food with a good price, quality and quantity.
